Resorts World Sentosa – USS, Halloween Horror Nights 6, Salem Witch House

Year: 2016

Client: Universal Studios Singapore

The USS Halloween Horror Nights 6 – Salem Witch House is a Universal Studios Singapore’s annual Halloween event, designed to deepen the horror experience within the Salem Witch House attraction and surrounding scare environments. Halloween Horror Nights is known for its atmospheric haunted houses, scare zones, and themed entertainment that engage guests through multi-sensory storytelling.

At the heart of this project are original soundtracks that underscores tension, dread, and narrative progression throughout the haunted space. The musical tracks blend dark ambient textures, unsettling synth motifs, and rhythmic tension cues, creating an audio identity that amplifies fear and curiosity as guests move from room to room. Each track is crafted to evoke distinct emotional states — from subtle unease in transitional spaces to heightened intensity during key scare moments — while maintaining a cohesive sonic signature across the experience.

The sound design interweaves layers of environmental effects — whispers, distant creaks, ritualistic pulses, and spatialised ambiences — to transform the physical space into a living, breathing nightmare. This integration of music and sound design not only reinforces the haunting themes of witchcraft and supernatural terror, but also draws guests deeper into the narrative world, making every step through the house feel unsettlingly alive.
